Privacy policy

Short version: this site sets no cookies, has no accounts and collects nothing about you personally. Last updated 13 October 2026.

Who we are

kinematic.io is the website for Kinematic, a game made by Catsup Interactive. Catsup Interactive is responsible for this site and for any personal data it handles (the “controller”). Contact: [email protected].

What we collect

  • No cookies. The site does not set cookies or use local storage to track you, so there is no cookie banner.
  • Visit statistics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookie-less and does not fingerprint you. It counts things like page views, the pages visited, the referring site, country, device type and page load times, and shows them to us only as totals.
  • Server logs. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. To deliver pages and protect against attacks, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address and browser details. We do not use this to identify you.
  • No accounts, no forms, no newsletter yet. If we add a newsletter, it will be opt-in, and this page will be updated before it collects a single address.
  • Email. If you email us, we keep the message and your address so we can reply, and delete them when they are no longer needed.

Why, and on what basis

We process this data to run and secure the website, to understand in aggregate which pages are useful, and to answer your messages. Where data protection law such as the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in running the site and replying to you.

Who else is involved

Cloudflare, Inc. hosts the site and provides the analytics, acting on our behalf. Its privacy policy is at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy. We do not sell or share data with anyone else.

Links to other sites, such as Steam, Discord or YouTube, take you to services with their own privacy policies. Nothing from those services loads on this site until you follow a link.

Your rights

You can ask what personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
